Hypocrite? How so?  I am not mentioning any party and when have I EVER condoned such actions as Cheney has? Also MD. We are discussing Cheney and team right now correct? Why are you trying to smoke screen by bringing up Obama? Stay to the discussion.

How do any of these idiots keep us safe? Torture, enhanced interrogation, does NOT work.
How does screwing with other countries to further our national interests keep us safer? How does obliterating other countries and killing hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, children and babies keep us safe?? How does indefinitely detaining innocent people keep us safe? How does killing far more innocent people than "terrorists" with drone strikes keep us safe?
Why does the US rank as #1 threat to world peace? Even among our allies? No other country even came close. No 2 countries added together even came close. Why do you think that is?
Pretty sure the rest of the world is sick of our lies, wars, hegemony and bullshiit. I don't think they argue whether it's the fault of democrats or republicans either.

Actually, I consider myself Independent. I do not need someone to tell me how to think and express myself.
I believe govt spending needs to be reigned in dramatically in the right areas .
I believe our borders should be secure.
I believe the big bankers should have been put in jail.
I believe healthcare should be affordable and available to all citizens.
I believe the wealthy have had to "easy" of a tax system for too long.
I believe that our infrastructure needs to be fixxed.
I believe that laws that are on the books need to be utilized instead of drumming up new ones.
I believe that if you are on public assistance, you should be found proper work and accept if able to perform.
I believe that yes, Unions can be very useful to the working class.
I believe that the laws in this country have been stacked to further the wealth of a few over the masses.
I believe Cheney and company did not have our best interest in mind when we went into Iraq.
I can go on and on but I hope you can grasp that I do not follow anyones platform but my own.

I guess I should not have capitalized independent. Penn is an atheist. I would set my role model quite a bit higher! Atheists tend to glorify themselves rather than point it to where the glory should go, hence Teller not allowed to speak!
