It's the bridge between Edgewater Bay and Fountain Lake right as you go up the hill into Shoreland.

I was just over by the construction for the new Hatch Bridge. It doesn't look like there will be much clearance for boat traffic under the bridge. Any body know what's up?

Yes, I was quite surprised at how low it is too. I am wondering if the party barges will be able to get under this even with the supposedly wider area.

Drove over by the new bridge to see how it was looking. Man does it look good.
I didnt get too close to it but the low part you guys are talking about looked like material used for construction and not actually the bridge. Of course your posts are old and you have probably noticed that also.
That will be a very nice improvement for the community

Yes, I've been meaning to get back to this. The bridge looked so low because we were seeing the forms & framing etc. used to pour the concrete & set the frame, which were still in place back in May.
Now that they've been removed, the clearance is easier to see. The bridge is being made to look attractive, I agree.

For the record, the passage under the new bridge was opened to boats this afternoon, Wednesday, June 22 at about 4:30 p.m. First under the bridge was Kim Hanson of Edwards Manufacturing, whose father laid the culvert for the previous bridge. There still may be some times when boats will not be able to get under temporarily.
