The DFL called and asked if they could count on me for $100 donation to stop the Republicans from taking the Senate. I told her they'd get no support of any kind from me as long as we have a Governer that gets his medical advice from law enforcement instead of doctors. I told her the Senate, House and Governer's mansions were all controlled by cowards and I hope they're all thrown out of office over the medical marijuana issue. Then she says, "Thanks" and hangs up on me. I wasn't even close to being finished venting, I didn't even got a chance to swear at her before she hung up on me.
Clearly they don't care about us , or issues that are important to us, like every political group, they just want our money, and our vote.
So after she hung up on me I emailed the DFL and told them not to ever contact me again because I'm putting my money and effort into helping individual politicians that support issues I believe in.

Every time you post nonsensical things like that I like to use it as an example for my kids to illustrate what drugs and alcohol can do to a mind. Have you thought of putting all those nonsensical posts together in a book? Think of how useful it would be for highschool health classes.

Minnesota has a Medical Cannabis Law.
Guess I haven't paid that much attention, MJ always made me paranoid, hungry and unable to concentrate.
I'm lucky enough not to have any real medical condition nor do I need to take medication regularly.
One of the major traits we humans share sooner or later we all have health issues.
I believe people with medical conditions deserve relief wherever they can find it
Some of the stuff it's does for kids with seizures is simply amazing!
Is there some benefit for people like yourself with a thyroid condition?

I commend you liberal. I get the idiots from both sides knocking on my door and they don't understand the notion that one can vote person over party. To them you are one OR the other, like they are mutually exclusive.
I've chased off more than one door knocker over the last few election cycles. If they know they aren't not going to get your vote and/or your money they run off.
Sad really.

When they come to my door I gently tap on the "no soliciting" sign I have stuck on the glass, most of them turn away, a few, (AFL-CIO in one instance) exclaim,"we're not soliciting, we're asking for contributions"  and again .
Phone solicitation? You think I get nasty on this site?

My Graves' and Hashimotos' doesn't really bother me except for 5 years they haven't been able to get my TSH level right. 3 months ago it was 4.9 so they put me on name brand medicine and my TSH went to .47 . The reason is because I'm an abnormal drug metabolizer, so I can't have conscious sedation and when I have to be put under they have to use ketamine which feels like you been knocked out with a iron pipe when you come to.

I also have trocleitis(sp) which is arthritis in my eye joint
Sclerosing Messenteritis which wakes me up at night because it feels like I've been punched in the gut, and Spondylosis which is a bone spur inside my top vertebrae.
But it's not about me, it's about my daughter that has a connective tissue disease and recently tested positive for scleroderma. They have her taking 4 muscle relaxants and she still gets no sleep. Then last summer she went to Colorado and bought a jar of THC salve and it relaxed her muscles enough that she could sleep without medication. She ran out of it and doesn't dare drive out there again because she found out that Nebraska would charge her with possessing a pound of marijuana because that 1lb jar has THC in it.
My daughter is 23 and if the scleroderma test is accurate she may not see her 30th birthday, and I don't think a jar of freaking salve is going to hurt her, or lead to harder drugs.

Sorry to hear about your daughter liberal. Give this woman a call (651) 201-5598. She's extremely informative and helpful as heck. I don't know anything about your daughter's condition, but if there are muscle spasms or seizures associated with it she shouldn't have much of a problem getting accepted. Otherwise, hopefully this summer they will add a lot more to the list.
She's extremely helpful.

One of my coworkers sons has scleroderma, it made his arms thin and hard, still functional though, he's had it since he was young, the kid is about 30 now, actually works as an auto mechanic, so sometimes it doesn't progress.
My coworker told me about that nasty stuff, if moves to the major organs it's not good.
There's nothing worse than watching your children go through something like that, you have my sympathy on both counts, your health and your daughters..
Bernie's trying to Decriminalize MJ at the federal level, he wants to remove marijuana from the Controlled Substance Act.

Your father's insurance company will have a formulary (list of drugs they cover) if it's not on there it'll be a battle to get insurance to pay. if it is on there it'll most likely have restriction, such as prior authorization or quantity limit, maybe some other red tape or higher copays..
