Gingrich wins Union Leader endorsement
By Meghashyam Mali - 11/27/11 06:09 AM ET

GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich received the endorsement of the influential editorial board of the New Hampshire Union Leader on Sunday, providing another boost to his surging campaign.

The endorsement gives the former House Speaker additional momentum after a month which has seen him vault to the top of national GOP polls.

"We are in critical need of the innovative, forward-looking strategy and positive leadership that Gingrich has shown he is capable of providing," said the editorial by publisher Joseph W. McQuaid.

What is the distinctive plea of the church of Christ?

It is primarily a plea for religious unity based upon the Bible. In a divided religious world it is believed that the Bible is the only possible common denominator upon which most, if not all, of the God-fearing people of the land can unite. This is an appeal to go back to the Bible. It is a plea to speak where the Bible speak and to remain silent where the Bible is silent in all matters that pertain to religion. It further emphasizes that in everything religious there must be a "Thus saith the Lord" for all that is done. The objective is religious unity of all believers in Christ. The basis is the New Testament. The method is the restoration of New Testament Christianity.

Something has happened to the media's adoration for President Barack Obama.

According to an MSNBC sneak peek report, the men's magazine GQ – which named Obama "Man of the Year" in 2008 and "Leader of the Year" in 2009 – will name the president one of its "25 Least Influential People Alive" in its December 2011 issue.

Specifically, the "leader of the free world" comes in at No. 25.

PBS Travel Guru Rick Steves: Smoking Pot is "My Civil Liberty"

You know, the funny thing is, while you watch this, please keep in mind that in MN a judge will often force a marijuana offender to drug treatment and/or mental health. Do you know what it's like having some young gal half your age, in drug treatment ask you why you got high? It's laughable. Or do you know what it's like having a psychiatrist guy ask you if you believe in God and not proceeding until he gets an answer.

Now watch this from a fellow Scandinavian...
