Most times when I go to McDonald's I'm greeted by a young man with a golden grill who couldn't possible better English than a 7 year old. Usually the customer service is horrid, and I'm passed my bag full of greasy food faster than I can get my window rolled down. Then they shut the window as fast as they opened it, and you have to wait until they come back to get whatever condiments you may have wanted. ( it seems that the world is in a terrible ketchup shortage that I was totally unaware of.) Either way I have been to my share of McDonald's over the course of my life and I have never once seen a decent looking woman working there. So I found it quite amusing that Playboy is going to do an upcoming shoot of "the woman of McDonald's", yet another part to their series of retail hookers bearing all for money.
This will take some time

McDonald's franchisees in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Brainerd, Minn., and Norwood, Mass., recently began outsourcing their drive-thru order-taking to a call center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Thus, a Big Mac order shouted into a microphone in Missouri gets typed into a computer in Colorado (and a digital photograph of the customer's car is taken in order to reduce errors) and then clicked back to the originating restaurant's kitchen, which has the order ready in less time (30 seconds less, on average, with fewer errors) than the average McDonald's takes.
