Agreed. The Beatles knew they wanted to go out on top, and they did. George Martin deserved his knighthood for producing this masterpiece, as well as the performers. The tunes, the lyrics, the audio effects, the "pacing" of the album--all are perfect.
How do you cap off a supergroup's career? "The End" was perfect--"and in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love, you make"--an apparent "Grand Finale" with orchestral highlights--only to have the irreverent "Her Majesty" as the REAL end. The Beatles--Innovators to the end!

My favorites are ZZ Top and ACDC; I also like Whitney Houston and Carol King in their heyday. I have been looking all over creation for a song by Carol King called. "Now and Forever" can't find it but love it.
