I think SB is focusing more on the fact that Kennedy was a Democrat.  Republicans find all kinds of silly reasons to hate liberal politicians: their love life, travel expenses, birth certificates, etc.  :crazy:

There you go again, mistaking me for a repub, or at least for a main stream repub. JFK's policies where actually more conservative the most the main stream Repubs today. It's just me, I have a big problem with infidelity.

I suppose it could be worse, one could leave his secretary to die.

Today, Kennedy would be considered too conservative to be a Democrat, and Reagan would be considered to liberal to be a Republican.

There is no more centrism in partisan politics. If you aren't with the party, you are against the party, and they won't let you play in any of their reindeer games.
