Originally circulating the web from 2008, Popular Mechanics did a story on it saying it was Rubbish.  Hydrogen cars have been the craze for a long time, but the technology is always said to be "a few years away" from being ready, or maybe a decade away.  Trouble is, the technology will ALWAYS be a few years or a decade away from reality.  I think the whole thing is a scam to divert the public from electric cars that you charge up for a fraction of the cost of what driving a gasoline car costs to drive.

Ever seen the documentary Who Killed the Electric Car?  Automakers have been able to make a fully electric car since the 90's.  But the most profitable industries in the country and the world make far more from having consumers buy, drive, and pay to fix gas powered vehicles.

The Nissan Leaf may change this if other automakers have to follow in their footsteps.
