Anyone have any opinions as to a time table for U.S. troops leaving Afganistan.. Is it time? Since Bin Laden is gone, have we done what was set forth as the mission when the war began?

Seems as if the financial drain might be too high to continue, considering the congressional paralysis that exists today.. Do we gut our social contracts to fund a war we may not be able to win...... :dunno: .....ned

There was rationing and financial sacrifice to fight WW2.  Since then we have basically "charged" every military conflict on credit which has resulted in driving the nation into bankruptcy.

It is time to bring our troops home.

Don't forget about the two fools ( Bush& Cheney) who left Afganistan undermanned, to go to Iraq on a fools errand of lies perpetuated by them and swallowed by congress....There is enough blame to go around for both parties...
