Not sure of the age. It has a couple of 'cosmetic issues', but don't we all. Like I said, it works great, operates quite economically, and sets up in about 5 minutes...minus the time it takes the water to get where it needs to be. I would post some pictures, but am having temporary camera issues. The cover for it is newer, not the one originally designed for it, it is better...designed so you could sit on it without it collapsing.
