Wednesday, the 20th, I had a very unplesant experience with a woman driving her kids to church in a minivan... she was driving down the CENTER of the road, forcing me into the curb. For those of you that watch my posts, you know first hand I don't take stupidity from anyone... so when she wouldn't offer an apology, I followed her down the block to church and asked her what she was doing driving down the middle of the road and forcing me to drive curbside. She proceeded to blame ME saying I shouldn't have been turning that corner and I ran a stop sign! (What stop sign? There isn't one on that corner!!!) Then she had the NERVE to ask me what business I had turning in the first place!!! Um... I live on that street? For dumb! What is it about some elitist people that make them think they own the friggin road and all those they come across?
Oh and if this "lady" happens to be a member of this forum...  U!
Then, later that evening, we were down to the Nelson's gas station by Taco Bell. I was in there getting a soda at the fountain, and to my surprize that short, extremely robust woman that works down there (amy I believe) was standing right behind me making motions like she was trying to push me aside! Aparently I was infringing on her plan to add ice to the soda machine. Guess paying customers must take a side in that place when there is general work to be done. What kind of business needs this kind of reputation? She got the short version of an a$$ chewing let me tell ya.

WP- I know exactly what you mean, being breed born and raised in AL for 30+ years I have all too often run into people who think they own the road, but unlike you I didn't deviate from my side of the road and the other driver would at the last minute take the ditch, couldn't tell you the very near head on hits. Nothing like a good game of chicken to keep the blood flowing and the adrenaline levels up to par.
The reason she thinks she owned the road is because, she is in her soccer mom mini-van and she has kids, you did not so therefore her situation trumps yours, apparently if you have kids aboard you are given an automatic pass to drive how-ever you want.
As for the pleeb wanting to fill the fountain machine, yeah I would have taken an extra looooooooooooong time to fill my pop up. And then read her the riot act, in the hopes of making her cry.

People in front of me at the checkout buying scratch-off lottery tickets. "I want one Lucky Seven ticket, and no, make that a Golden Dream, and one....."
I wanna scold em.
I experienced this phenom tonight actually, standin in line, waitin to pay for gas. These ppl kill me, wastin away their measly paychecks for what? Its like crack man and it needs to be stopped, suckin the life outta the less fortunate.

Oh all you type A personalities! I do things like that on purpose just to piss people like you guys off! Keeps my blood pressure down!
Yep. I am the one that purposely slows down when your behind me driving your Pinto.
Yep. I am the one that forgot those two items in the store that I have to run back to get while there are 4 people in line behind me.
Scratch tickets? No that wasn't me but I will sit and visit with the people behind the counter just long enough to make you roll your eyes.
OMG! Dont' you people have enough other things to bitch about?

I grumped [in a mildly annoyed manner out of ear shot of other customers] to the manager of a business just yesterday about service. A few minutes later her boss came out and read me the riot act about what did I know about running his business. I left the items on the counter and told him where he could place his attitude. Geez

My son was at Kwik Trip the other night on Garfield. He got a charge out of a couple of women that were "going at it" He said this older woman (50'ish is older to him) was getting some cigarettes and wanted to use her Kwik Trip gift card.
The cashier told her numerous times that she was sorry but the cash register would not allow cigarettes to be purchased.......apparently this woman would not let it go and a line was forming. A girl about 21 came up to her and said" jeez lady do you think you could make a decision and move on?" At this time the woman looked at the girl and said "listen you spoiled little bitch I am talking to her (the cashier) not you." At this point the verbal jabs just escalated and my son said he could not believe how many "jabs" the older women got at the younger girl that had come in with a "chip on her shoulder" to begin with. He felt the 21 year old deserved what she got.
She had apparently just came in whereas the others were and had been in line for awhile and weren't saying anything. They had just been waiting patiently for this woman to be through. The cashier even had to say "alright ladies, that's enough." 
My son said the place was so busy by the time these two actually "chilled out" but not one other person got involved. The other customers just watched as they waited in line behind these two, and probably thought it to be as silly and funny as my 16 yr old did.
