It seems the state is handing out department of education money for cops to put on "Got Meth?" T-shirts and set up drug tables where they display many different drugs. During the "dope show" they set up and assemble a make shift meth lab (so we know what to look for) and then describe how it's manufactured from Sudafed.
So, if you all have any questions on how to improve your own lab, be sure to attend one of their workshops. And I bet you thought Home Depot's free courses were good...
Got Meth? No...but I probably will after you get done showing me how to make it...

I believe knowledge is power, but they need to keep in mind who or whom they are giving the power too. Parents need to be aware of what to look for, but come on ... let's not have classes teaching the public how to make this stuff! Who came up with this great idea?! .... YOUR FIRED!! (had to say that!)
And another sad fact is ... a lot of the people making the meth ARE the parents.

They probably just hope that they can encourage more of these walking mongols to start their own labs. The morons start a lab and while they're messing with things they don't understand.....ooops.....BOOM! Scratch more bad guys.

Yes...I'd thought of that as well. It does appear to be the real motive, because what they're doing makes no sense at all.
So..they are in effect, out to "drum up some business". More meth labs mean more LEO (law enforcement officer). ---->means new and grand LEO complexes---->large new prisons
----->makes LEO feel important and needed.

Hrmmm...I see. So you admit it. It's all about your employment security. 
We certainly wouldn't want to lay off any LEO's(law enforcent officer) by doing something silly like...oh... consecrate justice!

Actually, that's a valid argument for legalizing or at least suspending the war on drugs. $Billions are being spent to fix a problem that, if its really all that serious, will fix itself.

The war on drugs will end when the baby boomers acheive full retirement, when 80% of the GNP must go for SS and related health care. This combined with the fact that those in power will be a whole generation brought up with DARE and other prohibition models. Ony then will the "political will" to jail offenders be broken. We won't win the drug war as much as we'll have to direct resources to other areas that matter more. It'll just fade away. Then we will come back and punish those drug warriors guilty of war crimes against a just and decent society.
