Wondering how everyone else is feeling about the Green Mill. I was very impressed with everything about it when they first opened up, but the service has really declined and what is up with them taking half of the items off of the menu?????

Although I've never been dissatisfied with the food in my 5 visits, the service was less than acceptable and I won't be going back.

GEO, you think the Green Mill is cheap?
I find it runs about the same as Applebee's if not a bit more and the service is better at AB's and the food is always hot there, (from my experience)

Went there night before last--I also noticed the incredible shrinking menu--some favorite items gone. I like microbrew, highly hopped beer, but I thought the Grand Marais Ale (an Extra Special Bitter) tasted metallic.

I've been impressed with their pizza delivery. I think the pizza's are the best in town, and the people are very helpful on the phone even though I don't have a menu & never know what I want.

I've been to the original Green Mill on Grand in St. Paul. I don't know what the difference is but the pizza's there are to die for. I've been told that the use of garlic is an art. Until it's learned at this Green Mill, my pizzas are coming exclusively form "A Taste of the Big Apple".

Ooh, I love Big Apple. They know us there, we always get a large 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sauerkraut. She doesn't even ask our names anymore
