People who continue to ignore medical experts and post info trying to relate this to the seasonal flu show their true lack of education and understanding of things.
The flu kills at a rate around 0.1%. This is killing at a rate between 1.5% and 5%. That is where the huge concern and issue is.
But go ahead and keep posting your absolutely stupid and uneducated thoughts. Shows how f’n stupid you really are.
Or try reading some facts, educating yourself before you post bullshit falsehoods.
^^ 1.5 to 5, considering the numbers involved that’s a big spread.
I was driving around town yesterday and I saw quite a few groups of people not practicing social distancing. Mostly a lot of kids, playing basketball, throwing the football around, just generally rough housing and having a good time. So much for closing the schools.
At least I put factual ranges unlike you who wants to follow the supreme idiots lead of making anything else look worse.
You stated 59,000 died from influenza. Ah no. Try again dipshit. The CDC is estimating that influenza will kill 26,000 to 59,000. NOT that we have already had 59,000 die as you stated
As much as you don’t like it, facts matter, the truth matters and purposely spreading misinformation during crises is unacceptable.
If this ain't a mess, it'll do 'til the mess gets here, as the sheriff in Cormack McCarthy's "No Country for Old Men" once said.
The shutting down of simply everything is necessary to prevent the overwhelming of our already-strained healthcare system. It's a tough call, and I wouldn't want to second-guess it. The only thing I'm second-guessing at this point are the myriad morons that are sitting on garages and basements full of booty wipe. One can only hope that Walmart issues a stern "no" to these chuckleheads when they try to return it when the storm is passed, should that ever happen.
Hope you are all okay. Still working here, keeping P&G/Clorox in labels, grateful for the work.
