The polarization and blind faith that has developed in this country is scary. Neither side can see anything good about the other. The "followers" on both sides cannot believe anything bad about their side nor anything good about the other.
Speaking of AM and Satellite, people like Hannity only make it worse. Every day he is on the radio and his tv show spouting out untruths and "alternative facts". How many times a day does he run down the road of Hillary "giving" 20% of our uranium to the Russia's, which is total stretch to have any type of truth.
I swear, there can be video tape of the Donald, sitting in Trump Tower, with Putin talking about how they are going to rig the election and the Trumpers will still call it fake news.

Agreed. Civil discourse is out the window. Some days, I'm as guilty as the next person.
This is a logical development in end-stage Capitalism - keep the people fighting among themselves, and they won't notice that the ruling elite have run off with simply everything, until it's too late.
As for the present-day arguments themselves: They are two sides of the same coin. Even if Hillary won the election, the same endgame would be playing out. We all still end up broke, or something close to it, and the elites will have everything, including enough resources to insulate themselves from any potential revolution, if they aren't there already. No standing military force is going to defend the meek and the poor; they'll be guarding the wealth.
-------------- Dear future generations: Please accept our apologies. We were rolling drunk on petroleum.
Didn't Selfburnished have a signature/quote thing at one time about how the US was over and boo hoo hoo.
Now he found his rose coloured glasses I guess.
And he's reprimanding/chiding/admonishing/scolding/berating/lambasting and criticizing everyone for not sharing his optimism.
Yes, that was "pull the plug, America's over". Don't kid yourself, we're far from being out of the woods but for now, there is hope. Of course we have a bunch of republitards and a sh!t load of Nazis that are incapable of getting anything done and a liberal press that's doing its best to sabotage any new legislation.
