Mother is in a wheel chair and a ramp leads to her door. The delivery person would drop the shopper at the end of the ram. We called and asked if they would drop it at the top of the ramp. The shopper required us to hang a shopper box on the house and the delivery would be more accessible for mother. Still the delivery person dropped it at the end of the ramp. I called agsin and ask since I installed the box in plain view why was the paper still being dropped at the end of the ramp. The circulation manager assured me the paper would be placed in the box. This has been on going for over a year. Now they don't even bother to deliver the shopper for the last 2 months. This is how they treat our handicapped elderly.

That's really too bad. I wonder if her carrier is complacent because the Shopper is free, so it's not like he/she can lose customers on their route. Calling to complain obviously hasn't made any difference, and it doesn't look like there is any consequence to your carrier's behavior.

Does your mother know who the carrier is? Maybe if one of you explained her situation to the carrier the situation would change.

Some drunk woman ran over my mailbox a few years ago. I never rehung the Shopper Box, don't miss it either.
