The 30 Best Quotes Of 2013
Written By : John Hawkins
December 21, 2013
My latest Townhall column is called, The 30 Best Quotes Of 2013.

30) “Oh, the guy who bombed Boston is on the loose in my neighborhood? Super glad I don’t have an AR-15 with 30 round mags” Said nobody, ever. – Katie Pavlich

29) I wanted to know why we were promised a state of the art website and we got an abacus and a sundial. I want to know what we got for our money. I want to know if this thing could be fixed in two months why didn’t you have it up and running in the three years prior to October the 1st? — Congressman Trey Gowdy on healthcare.gov

28) When lefties “discuss” issues, a lot of their so-called “discussion” amounts to nothing more than rationalization about how & why some person should be excluded from further discussion. Either him, or the points he has just brought up. They truly do seem to think we become more “learned,” by way of knowing less. – Morgan Freeberg

JESUS DID THE ORGANIZING for His church and whenever men go beyond that pattern (found only in the New Testament of Jesus Christ) they do so at their own peril. One needs to only read the New Testament to see the problem that has been created over the last two centuries within the churches.

At this point what difference does it make? Other than trying to blame the administration?

Seems there was plenty of that to go around during Bush #43. Or is that sort of thing off the table when a D occupies the Oval Office..?

Why do you think it was their fault for the attack on Benghazi?  Seems like it should be the attackers fault for the attack.

They've had more than a year of investigation, Issa and the blogosphere are still trying to blame Obama and Hillary.  But the only thing brought forward are blog rumors, fabricated stories, or crocodile tears from pundits and politicians campaigning for 2016.

The main differences between an attack under a Repub Administration versus that of Democrats so far this Century:  Republicans have a far higher death toll, they were warned of the attack much earlier, and the attacks happen on our own soil.  Yet, somehow if this was a Republican their approval ratings would go way up, anyone in the media blaming the President would be attacked as unpatriotic.  Oh, and there'd be numerous country songs written of support for the subsequent war on Muslim nations that probably had nothing to do with the attack in the first place.

^ I like your "republicans are worse" defense, shows great intelligence :sarcasm:  why was it the Dems fault? I don't know, maybe a lack of response, both Hilary and president liar conveniently being absent, and not cooperating with inquiries. The repubs are no better, cry baby boehner needs to push a bit harder but he won't.

People died, they died must likely because to help them it would have probably at the least, inconvenienced them but more likely embarrassed them.

Alky likes to rant that millions where killed under Bush. Well 4 people died at Bengazi, are their lives worth any less?

Like the Dixie Chicks?
Who are they again?
Never mind, it's country music, no one pays attention to that crap anyway.  Well, except for the Freeborn County Fair. :D

They were attacks, I blame the attackers not the party at Pennsylvania Avenue.  Sorry if that's hard to comprehend.  My comparison to the Bush Administration is because you guys had no problem blaming the attackers back then.

Duh, there was a pretty big lack of response in 2001.  Weren't you watching the footage of the planes hitting both towers and the Pentagon?  Bush was reading a children's book in Florida, hardly a better response or cooperation to inquiries.

But I guess that "lack of response" was okay to you because he has an "R" next to his name.

No, and they're certainly not worth any less to the families that miss them.  But let's be honest here, republican politicians and pundits wouldn't give a damn about those four lives if it couldn't help their campaigns.  Unless you expect me to believe that all of a sudden human lives in the Middle East started to become cherished by those same politicians and pundits?
