If any of you were curious, the new Cuban Island Restaurant on Clark Street (next to Power 96) has fantastic food. I just tried it today and will absolutely be back.
They are still working out some of the kinks with the operating of the place, but they offer great service and a delicious menu.
For those who have never tried Cuban food (which is nothing like Mexican food), they do offer a sample platter with some of their meats, beans and rice, and plantains, so you can decide what to order from their menu.
I will definitely return there.
