Quite well actually, they're the fastest growing religion in America (and the world in general). Decades and centuries ago there was trouble assimilating nearly every other demographic imaginable, hence the melting pot.

There are plenty of Muslims that don't strap bombs to themselves and kill others, just like there are plenty of Christians that don't molest children or protest military funerals. Don't generalize an entire group because of what you see on the two minutes of hate (the media).
