To the best of my knowledge, Liberal maintains the servers almost entirely by himself.

I believe that free speech on this forum has always been most important.  it came about because of the lack of it on the old forum.

Personnaly, I do ignore most of The Breeze's topics. It's just annoying when he starts 10 new completely inane topics back-to-back and pushes all the good topics off the homepage.

That's what's most annoying, never waste time ever reading any of them.  It does basically obscure or bury other topics that might be of interest, where there is actual discussion about local topics.

Once in a great while we'll have people post over and over again what is essentially SPAM.  It could be people posting a bunch of new threads for advertising, but in the case of The Breeze it's forwarded emails and worldnewsdaily topics.  Sometimes these things can stir the pot regardless of whether it's right or left leaning content.  But like some have said, when you're posting a dozen or so topics back to back with not a single cohesive thought included it's no different than the bots we use to get junk topics from.

Breeze or any other poster is welcome to come on and debate, post conspiracy theories or news, but don't SPAM the forum.  It really isn't that difficult, but if you miss seeing a long list of topics copy/pasted from other forums everyday, then bookmarking that forum in addition to this one is always an option.

I hear ya. That's what I hated about he/she post the most. He/she didn't even give the topics time to sink in. OK , we learned from it.

Mine too.  Maybe that's their intent.

Some things can be determined just by general observation. It's really not that hard. So maybe it has been selectively applied through the years but not consistently.

I could go back and show you probably 20 posts in the last month from Hymie that are just posting of news stories with no comment. Of course, in the last few days he adds great commentary like, "interesting story".

By the way, where are these elusive posting rules located? I did a search on the site and no luck?

Spamming the entire front page with the same exact same subject, is the issue here.

Your analytical and observation skills are easily disregarded and have no merit.

But what else is new.

Way to reinforce your bonehead status around here.

Really? The administrators stated this is about posting links without any additional comments. Of course, I hope they mean additional, "worthwhile" comments. Something a little more than, "This is interesting".

Whose comprehension skills should really be questioned here?

Why do you feel the need to reply when all your rebuttal is, "Na na boo boo, I'm smarter than you. Just ask me!"

Since this is just about spamming why have you started adding 2-3 word comments on the links you start topics with?

And please reply with a coherent answer with some actual substance. I know you can do it if you really try.

Again the real issue was covering the entire front page with anti President Obama spam.

Or one subject, basically.

This is a pretty good analogy right here:

I have many personal interests too and belong to multiple special interest forums focused on those. My first post or two about saltwater cruising could seem interesting to some but if I were to load the front page with post after post of Coast Guard regulation changes it would be incredibly inappropriate here.
