So basically the entire state of Utah is suspicious since Mormon teaching is to always be prepared. It is not uncommon for them to store 1 years worth of food and other supplies. gov't.
-------------- After we screw up health care reform, let's take on the initiative of unscrewing the education system (gov't education) Tacitus: (c. 56 AD-c. 117) "The more corrupt the state, the more it legislates."

Oh come on, maybe a couple thousand people would still be alive if someone would have noticed a bunch of Arabs wanting to know how to fly a plane, but not take off, or land a plane.

And once again I'm wondering why this story isn't in the mainstream media. I can't even find local stories in Colorado about this. Not to mention World Nut Daily is reporting that this right wing nut got his hands on this from a "friend" and he verified the authenticity, but it doesn't say who he verified it with. And why would the FBI only send this to Colorado surplus stores?

QUOTE (Liberal @ Aug. 12 2011,4:52 pm)
QUOTE QUOTE The handout also instructs surplus store owners to consider as “suspicious” anyone who “demands identity ‘privacy’” or anyone who expresses “extreme religious statements” and those who “make suspicious comments regarding anti-US, [or] radical theology.”
If a guy with a darker complexion is in a military surplus store talking about the evil United States and how great Allah is, and he's buying a boatload of stuff with cash, would you think that he is someone that the DHS should probably know about? Do we really need a directive to react correctly to your obviously extreme example? Yes you would think that people would be able to take the initiative on themselves.
Maybe we just need an ipad app for that so people can figure that one out.
Also wasn't there a widely publicized story about some government agent from Minnesota reporting suspicious behavior relating to pilot training pre-911?

QUOTE Agreed Wolfie. I get asked that question as well, irritates the hell out of me. A nice kindly "Mind your fracking business" works just fine. Also I got to ask. What in the hell is a night flashlight? Is this any different than a day flashlight? Stupid God damn govt. They could just be trying to help. You know the more information you have about a problem the better equipped you are to solve it.
Put yourself in their position.
I would think you two would be acutely aware of that.
But yea maybe you're right. Those high school kids, at the Skyline Mall hardware store, might be secret government agents.
