The following is taken from a letter I received in the mail from the employer that provides my family's health care insurance.

It is very likely our premiums rates will increase significantly January 1, 2011, as a result of Health Care Reform enacted by congress and ongoing increases in the cost of health care.

We are working diligently to comprehend the impact of the Health Care Reform and have significant concerns regarding the well-being of our employees while trying to retain respectable profits.  It will be a challenge.


Can one of you idiot libs tell me again how this is going to benefit to me?

It's just like the new credit card reform which took effect this past Mon. , the one to protect the consumer from excessive fees  :rofl:  :rofl:

Interest rates on credit cards have gone up significantly prior to the final phase going into effect.  Credit card companies are prohibited from charging excessive fees any longer but doesn't say anything about increasing penalty interest rates.  All to protect THEIR profits :peaceout:

My premiums have went up significantly slower than the national average, some years we have had an increase of 0%, a few years we even received a refund on our premiums.  The employer pays 75% of our premium, we pick up the rest.
