As we quickly were introduced to fall...only to get a lovely break...we are again slammed with winter like weather. Somehow we have managed to escape weather warnings and watches, while our neighbors to the North, South, West all have them (must have been the over abundance of contrails...). I love snow, but it kinda caught us by suprise. I am hoping that we get the no accumulation they are promising us, so I can get everything cleared out of our 69 Starcraft and get it put away before the hard stuff hits. The kids on the other hand, have already figured out what part of the back yard will have whose fort, and who launches the first snowball. Oh to be that young again...

Here in North Kato, I just gone shovelling 4" of the heavy stuff, and it is still coming down pretty good.  It feels like a march snow storm.  I broke my damn shovel on the first snow fall, what is up w/ that?  :p

Why a progressive tax?
Because a person makes more they should be taxed more?  That sounds like real encouragement to go out and make more money.
I have said this before but that will stifle motivation.  My company used to have a cap on the amount of commissions the sales guys could earn in a year.  Guess what happened, no one sold more than their cap, no incentive.  At the end of the year they just rolled as many sales into the next year as they could to help w/ the next years quota.
I am more for a fair tax, everyone pays the same, very limited deductions.  (one house, college tuition) and would get rid of that monstrosity we call the tax code.  I mean we have a whole industry devoted to filling out taxes.  Does that really seem logical?  Oh wait, we're talking about gov't.  Never mind that statement. :p

I think you've possibly suffered a stroke shoveling this morning you're posting tax questions in a weather thread...

:finger: snow.

Its been a nice 70+ degree this week with little humidity and a slight breeze, and waking up to 50 degree mornings.  Now this is what winter should be.

Y'all can have that evil POS cold and ice and snow.

There's steady light snow, 33 degrees.  It is trying to stick to the ground.  Roads are wet but not slick.  Fingers crossed.

[8:55am less than 2" of snow stuck as of this morning, darn, I was hoping it'd all melt]
