Four hours after the post, and none of the resident libbies has risen to present their "outrage" over this corruption.
Where is Nancy Pelosi and her "Culture of Corruption?"
This will be at LEAST a "Twofer"--ABC News is reporting that Jesse Jackson Jr. is "Candidate #5" that offerred to "Pay to play."
And it gets even BETTER--Obama didn't trust Jackson because he had reneged on deals before!

Why yes of course it's Obama's fault the governor of Ill. is a dumb crook.
Just like it's Sarah Palin's fault that the senior senator for the GOP Alaskan Ted Stevens was found guilty on 7 Felony Counts.
Makes sense doesnt it?

Anybody that steals public funds, or extorts another for personal gain, while in public office should be removed immediatly. As Obama has called for. And the Gov. of Ill. probably will be.
On ther other hand, the Republicans, still can't figure out if they should throw stevens out, or let him finish his term.
Seems a little bit hypocritical don't you think?

It just goes to show you that you don't have to be a real brilliant person to get into high public office.
You would think that there would ample legit oppurtunities to parlay his Govenor status, into current and future earnings.
I mean if that's what it was all about. Him trying to supposedly better his fanancial status.

QUOTE It just goes to show you that you don't have to be a real brilliant person to get into high public office. No--you can have a guy that has never had a private sector job, has no record of legislative accomplishment, served only 143 days in the Senate, has no platform other than vague "hope" and "change", who wrote his autobiography BEFORE he actually got elected, who seems to consort only with far-left preachers and terrorists, and who has kept much of his life a secret--and he will be voted President because he has a (D) after his name!
The good news--yes, the Gov. has been caught.
The bad news--he has been under investigation since 2002. During that time, what damage has he done?
During that time, he was twice endorsed by Obama, and twice endorsed Obama. Obama was one of his advisors.
He isn't the ONLY Illinois crook. Ex Gov. Ryan was jailed after leaving office. Mayor Daley (Sr.) was famous for his "ward heeler" corruption--you could get ANYTHING done if you made a "donation" to the party ward heeler. Junior has rebuilt the corrupt Chicago "machine."

I hope Jesse, Jr. was candidate #5. The sooner he's out of politics, the better.
