Well I called in a pizza order on Tuesday for pick up. The kid said it would be ready 30 to 40 minutes. When I got there there were people waiting to get there pizza. Which I then new I was at the same old Godfathers Pizza in Albert Lea. So I then waited my turn to pay for my pizza. There was this man who looked like he was with his grandson, who was flippen out because he was there for an hour and had no pizza yet. So then it was my turn to pay and she said it would be another half hour. I was so angry, this was after I called in 30 minutes ago. I said take me off the list and I walked out.
This is why I do not understand why Big Apple had to close. They had good pizza and good service.

I can relate... recently the better half and I went to Pizza Hut to try out that pasta crap they are serving up. I do mean crap! We were the only people in the place, and only one delivery while we were there. It took 45 minutes for us to get the food, and was hard to eat with the stench of the moldy carpet under foot, dirty booths, tarnished brass, and after witnessing some girl in street clothes poking at our food as it came out of the oven! I can only imagine that she was trying to pop a bubble, but still... FORK not FINGER! The only reason we ate it anyway is that it was hot enough where what ever was on her sausages would have been baked to a crisp anyway.
While we were waiting for our food, we did get a pretty good show of how to throw bits of crust dough at each other in the back while waiting for the food to come out of the oven..
This, the Godfather's Pizza, Mc Don's, and Taco Bell incidents are just some prime examples of what to expect out of our young workforce.
Sad, real sad.

If she really had to poke something, I would have sacrificed myself to the cause (and enjoyed it) LOL

I have always had great service, and GodFathers is my favorite, thats too bad you had a bad experience

Make your own pizza at home. Cheaper and if someone touches it, spits on it, throws it, etc....at least you know who it is! And...the 5 second rule is easier to apply!
