I must say I think Time Mag did good job with their pick.  A former spook, I do not support Putin, but look at what he has done in his own country with the revival of nationalism.  Old Russia is making a comeback partially due to their oil industry.  My impression is that people are proud to be Russian again.

Looks like somebody has taken a cue from JimH's polls lists. lol

My first thought when I saw the thread title was...it should have been Common Citizen you know because he's the 2nd smartest participant... at The Albert Lea Discussion Forum. Albeit self proclaimed but still...lol  :;):

Then when I looked at the list and saw Miley...I knew I had to opt away from my first choice.

I was a little surprised I was thinking her or her dad even before I saw the list.

Reason:

Last time I looked at Time magazine it kind of reminded me more of like a "People" mag... or maybe even some kind of "Tigerbeat" type publication. I used to read it all the time... I didn't remember it being like that.

Maybe its always been that way.  :dunno:
