It seems there was a bit of a cat fight between two Austin Fireman. Apparently a fire commander(Mattice) saw the fire chief(Wilson) using a ladder truck after hours to do some work on a local park. Later that night the commander was walking his dog near the chiefs home and saw the chief return home. So he asked the chief about the use of the department's ladder truck and whether he was allowed to do that.
At that point their stories differ.
Mattice says Wilson struck him in the face so he kicked the chief in the leg and then the chief kicked him back.
The chiefs story is that Mattice walked up to him in his driveway and asked about his use of the ladder truck. He says he then pushed Mattice away from him and Mattice then tossed his Yorkshire Terrier to the ground and kicked the chief in the leg. Then the chief returned the favor by kicking the commander in the leg.
Now, it seems that the whole mess has been dropped in our city atty's lap to figure it out because of an obvious conflict of interest with the Austin city atty.

The fire chief in Austin is an @sshole. From what I understand he is lucky every fireman that works under him hasnt lined up to beat his @ss.

Mattice isn't much better. If I were Schwabb I wouldn't get close to this one! Send it back saying, "a pox on both of your houses."
