You're the last person that should be talking about tact. A lot of people would consider some of your posts offensive when you're having one of your diatribes against minnow. I've called people names before on here, but not near as bad as some of your posts daisy.

I would like to see this forum operated as it is now (have to register). It makes for some accountability even know there are those who will find ways to beat the system.
I also have multiple people on my wireless network sharing the same dynamic IP addresses meaning anyone using my network will have the same IP address as me. It doesn't really prove who is who.
I've also notice that more people have registered since the change took place. It's been somewhat better on the forum in my opinion.

Irish eyes can you give me some examples when I bad mouth you or anyone who didn't deserve some smart aleck comment. Minnow and kiddie deserve any crap they get cause they dish it out just as much. Treat others how you want to be treated. If I had bad mouthed you please let me know!! I'm not here to be the better person just putting my opinions in.
Who cares if one person is using more than one name.............it's actually quite funny cause you can tell cause they will write the exact same way. They know they aren't fooling anyone. It is just for kicks!!!

No, you haven't done any name calling towards me. I just brought it up because you mentioned that minnow wasn't using tact in his posts, but to me that seems like the pot calling the kettle black. It doesn't matter to me whether he, or anyone else deserve what is said, and it doesn't bother me seeing the discussion get heated either. I've called people on here names, and many times I've posted things that weren't polite. I just thought it was strange for you to bring up tact, since your posts don't show more of it that minnow/kid.

Maybe to some people, but it gets more than a little annoying after a while. It is banned - and believe me, the ban is enforced - on other bulletin boards. If people are doing this "just for kicks" - note the lack of smiley faces or laughs, please - I'd like to kick *them*. If you're going to say something, be antagonistic, or whatever - have the guts to do it, be responsible, and post under a single screen name.

By complaining and letting those guilty of using more than one name know how it bothers you so much is only going egg them on more. "They" enjoy the challenge of doing wrong. "They" are just like childish teenagers, if they know you don't want them to do something they have more fun doing it. Forget about who is saying what and concentrate on what is being said.

I know. I'm just sick of being on other bulletin boards and having a nice civilized environment in which to exchange posts, and then coming back here and getting into free-for-alls. Every single one outside this site in which I participate has basic rules by which huge communities of users are able to abide, pretty much without problems. But almost no matter what, I come here to post and find great hostility, a lack of manners and respect for others, and just a generally negative atmosphere. I'm ashamed that this is open to read for people outside the community sometimes, and having people under different screen names posting the same crap time and time again only reinforces that.

bullcrap. If it were boring like you'd like, you wouldn't even come here. I've seen what happens when guys like Minnow and myself stop posting. And you will too! If they ever decide to quit.

What boards do you go to? Encourage others to participate there if you don't like it here. I enjoy this site, and I have been posting on boards as long as they have been out there. It is good to register, so that if people do cross the line, like threatening each other physically, (which is one of the few reasons people should be locked out, and being too profane) the IP can be locked out. If multiple users, like a husband, wife and teenager, all use the same IP and different names, how would anyone ever know it is three people? If you lock out the IP, which the administrators can do (with a little restructure), the innocent pay too, but oh well. The person that did wrong should not have. I do not remember a single unmoderated site that did not have the same problems as this one, and so what? Freedom of speech means you take the KKK and Nazi's with the ACLU. That is life. Try to shoot down the hate speech, that is all you can do in a free society. I don't want to be protected from words, just bombers and shooters and photographers in the basement of newspapers. Words are words. I will debate the merits word for word.
