From Fox NewsQuote | Sen. Clinton Proposes Health Care System NEW YORK — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (search) plans to focus this year on improving health care, beginning with a proposal designed to modernize the sharing of medical information nationwide. The senator, who as first lady presided over a failed effort at health care overhaul, told a gathering of about 100 New York City health care leaders at a Manhattan hospital on Monday that the current system "often seems fragmented, redundant, inefficient and bureaucratic."
"Americans need a new, modern, 21st-century version of health care delivery, based on the premise of information in the hands of the right people at the right time," Clinton said. | She is proposing a National Database of patient's records--available to doctors, insurers, HMO's and presumably the FBI, TSA, and anybody ELSE that states a "need to know".
She should have learned her lesson LAST time--there are very few people clamoring for "Hillary Care"! As the doctor that responded to Behling's whine in the Trib. a couple of weeks ago (when he advocated more government involvement in health care) said--the government is the reason we are IN this mess--it's like going to the doctor with a case of the flu, and the doctor administering a flu shot!
Whether it is the TSA database, Homeland Security database, John Ashcrofts database, or Hillary's database--no thanks, I'd like to opt out!

Ya, and if the records reveal a past abortion, the Republican guard will pay a visit to their house and they'll never be seen or heard from again....
Both parties are lost...

What a nightmare, Hilary talking healthcare again. Just when I thought she'd crawled under a rock until she could still try and convince us that it was the right-wing propaganda telling those lies about Bill and that Monica person. Underfortunately, she may slither but Hilary is always looking for some way to gain the limelight.

Hilary's a real socialist. Maybe she should be encouraged to run for presdent so she can lose and then fade away like algore.

Hilary may not have a clue but she isn't alone. One thing I do know is that the health care system is becoming unaffordable for many Americans. If Hilary can focus us and work with other to lead us to some solutions, more power to her. If she wish to act as though she is the only one with the right answers again, maybe she would do better to bake cookies.

Doesn't anyone think its funny that two people are going to be paid millions of dollars for their memoirs (Bill 10 mill +/-) (Hillary 8 mill +/-) could not remember very much at all during each of their investigations?
