Even some of the talking heads at FOX were/are distancing themselves from him post mid-term.  Will see how long that lasts though.
The interesting things I saw/heard during the little bit of news coverage I was watching Tuesday night was how some ® candidates were polling ahead by decent margins for weeks, trump shows up and campaigns for them just before the election and the lead just diminished.

Personally my hope is that the Republican party can seriously just dump that turd by the way side. It's really not a good look, at all for them keeping around.

As for the Dems, I can't see them wanting to run Biden again, but not sure who they have in waiting.

I'm sure in 2 years it'll be another vote for the less stinky turd for most people again  :(

Democrats take House and Senate, and Governor in Minnesota

Lets see if we can finally get legalized sports betting and recreational marijuana passed now.  I don't partake in either, but I firmly believe free thinking adults should be able to do either of these things if they so choose.
Also let's hope big gov't doesn't find a way to squander the 9 billion dollar surplus on stupid shit.
Not holding my breath on the last one, gov't will gov't and do the most stupid things in most cases....
cautiously optimistic.....

I'm not a gambler but it's about time the government quit monopolizing gambling. As far as marijuana, I'm pretty sure people will still buy in other states, or black market because the chickenshit DFL will pass a watered down bill just to placate their right leaning constituents that wouldn't vote for them to save their lives.

There's a real opportunity to draw tax dollars from our neighboring RED states, we're surrounded...

Get some of that some of that Diamond Jo money back...

Minnesota collects about $430 million a year in taxes on social security income. If you plan give a break on Social Security you need to replace that lost revenue.

Big issue with me would be long-term health effects on smokers, but that's an individual choice.

They'll follow suit with Colorado.....Minnesota and Colorado have a comparable size population..their tax revenue since 2014 on Marijuana..

yeah IOWA in particular has casinos strategically placed around all of its outlying borders. . . ALBERT LEA does probably experience somewhat of a residual benefit being in such close proximity to DIAMOND JO.. .

all kidding aside:

think there is some charity money that flows back into MINNESOTA from the casino and the sports book

taxing social security does seem fundamentally wrong. and maybe EXPATRIATE has the answer right there. .  as to how to make up for the loss of revenue and then some with that COLORADO chart. . .

was watching some YOU TUBE thing a few months back. they were in COLORADO. and they went through this small outpost of a town. seemingly in the middle of nowhere. .  .

and here was this cannabis retailer. . . based on that. .  potentially you could possibly inject a little life into some of the rural areas in MINNESOTA that aren't as prosperous as they once were. .
