In 2018 Trump arranged the release of Abdul Ghani Baradar the CIA and Pakistan Intelligence had captured and imprisoned him in Pakistan, he's the co-founder of the Taliban.
Trump who claimed to know more than the Generals went behind the back of the Afghan Government/Military and negotiated directly with the Taliban. Trump agreed to terms set by the Taliban that were objected to by the Afghan Government and Military, but Trump's forte is selling people out..ask the Kurds.
In 2020 Trump not only released the Taliban leadership from prison but 5000 Taliban fighters. This move so demoralized the Afghan Government and Military that collapse was imminent...
One has to wonder if this was part of Trump's vindictive personality and intentionally planned to hand the incoming Administration another steaming pile of Trump Shit...
