Find it interesting that the Pioneer Press managed to get that as wrong as they did. The two stores they listed are small format ShopKo Hometown stores, and they totally missed the two actual ShopKo stores closing. Per the companies own published list here are the 5 locations closing in MN.

There are also 11 Iowa locations closing, none particularly close to our area however.

^^ yeah, I saw they were starting in Texas last week, more of a middle mileage carrier. It’ll probably be 10 or so more years to really get that going.
