And your link is flawed in that nobody has ever been forced to pay dues. If 100% of all jobs were union with compulsory dues then yes it would be a monopoly but, since a vast majority of jobs are non-union people have many options n on where they choose to work......

^^ once again the subject matter goes way over your head. If a person wants to work a public sector job they should not (and now never have to) be forced to join your little “he man woman haters club”. If they want to join they’re free to but why when the benefits offered to union workers are the same as everyone elses. Remember, the unions don’t own the jobs, the company owners do.

So sharpen up your negotiating skills, grow a pair and welcome to the real world.

Also, be nice to those truckers you’re loading, we’re in short supply and we’re becoming very expensive😁

So because you “want” a job you feel you are entitled to reap the
benfits of others work for free..... ok got it!  Theses benefits you talk of were negotiated between the union and the company they were not freely given away.  As usual you avoid the question I asked because even you know that it’s not right to force an organization to represent an individual who contributes nothing.

And just because drivers are in short supply it definitely does not mean the quality of drivers is increasing, but don’t worry the 18 year olds are coming to save the day.....

Jeezus, you remind me of the old adage about water, the mule and a 2x4. Let’s do this, I as an independent can go into a business to solicit work, i alone. The deal I broker is for me only. It doesn’t matter if there’s a union shop in place or not. What I do is none of the unions business, what the unions business is is none of mine unless they try to make theirs.

I do not own my customers business, neither do you or your buddies. The business owners should have the right to choose who they do business with. If the owners decide to terminate my services wether it be after a day to day or a term contract is their business, i’m Not going to stand like a fool at the end of their driveway and yell incoherently. :dunce:

As far as 18 year olds driving? Most youngsters that age are like union members, the think the world owes them. The mega carriers will train some in then they`ll bend them over the fuel tank like Expat at the pickle park. Our wonderous bought and paid for polititions have come up with a bandaid for a bullet hole. Also they project we`re 50-80k short of drivers, try doubling that.  Right now in my market there's more freight coming in than manned trucks to haul and it's becoming "name your price".

Thankyou President Trump

I guess you you just have to settle on posting incoherently on this forum.  Again if you were required to deliver goods to your costumers and they had the freedom to pay you or not and you could not, by law, refuse to continue service if they decided to not pay. That’s how system now works against collective bargaining.....

If one chooses to not pay their union dues they are not suddenly an “independent” contractor they still receive all the benefits and protections.  It is actually worse than welfare abuse.  If so many company owners didn’t feel entitled that their employees work for peanuts there wouldn’t be such a shortage...

I alway like looking at drivers on the other side of the window knowing I’m making a lot more than they are only working 40 hrs a week, no weekends, and sleeping in my own bed every night.

It doesn’t sound like the good guys are going to quit anytime soon,

But here it is one more time, maybe that single brain cell you and Kernal Klink share might kick in. If I were an employee, I should not have to join that little club (and it gets smaller all the time) to negotiate my wages or benefits.

I find it extremely pathetic that you don’t have the balls to stand up for yourself. Let me guess, mama’s boy?
