All this smokescreen means that the U.S. intelligence community has a new propaganda tool to malign the Russians with. Failing that, they'll exhume McCarthy.
If our election system is really that vulnerable to hacking, maybe it's time to rethink this whole Internet thing.

As for the Russia hack, if our own cyber experts aren't enough for you, I guess if only we had Trump, on video, asking the Russians to hack. Oh wait, he said that, too.Trump, 30 second mark: "Russia, if you're listening..."
Is that enough proof, or do you need a signed affidavit from both Trump and Putin, with their birth certificates.

Every news source I have read to date on this whole fiasco pretty much says the same thing. Nothing but hypothesis or conjecture and nothing concrete. After weeks of hearing this, I have written off the whole charade as mere BS and chicken-little-ism.
