How about this, July jobs added were 209000, unemployment ticked down (U3) to 4.3%, the U6 stated steady at 8+% (the real number) down from 10+% a year ago.

I thought these were made up numbers.  Isn't that what we were told about a year ago?  That they were not real and could not be trusted?

But now they are real?

OK.  Would be nice to know when facts are real and when they are "alternative" with this president.

Here's some #'s to consider, and I look forward to Trump doing even better than his 6 predecessors.

President         Stock Market Change in first 7 months                    Stock Market Change end of Term
Trump                                        +11.1%   (3rd best - but don't tell him)                    TBD
Obama                                       +18.7%                                                               +148.3%
Bush Jr                                       -8.6%                                                                  -26.5%
Clinton                                       +10.3%                                                               +228.9%
Bush Sr                                      +16.9%                                                              +41.3%
Regan                                         -6.9%                                                                 +147.3%

how about some U3 vs U6?
Bush Jr Start U6 was 7.3 U3 was 4.2  At end it was U6 14.2 and U3 7.8  so his U6 basically doubled and so did his U3
Obama Start U6 was 14.2 U3 was 7.8  At end it was U6 9.4 and U3 4.8 so his U6 was cut by 1/3rd and U3 was basically halved
Trump Start U6 was 9.4 U3 was 7.8 (or were they???)  and current is U6 8.6 and U3 4.3 - moving the right direction IF we can believe them

Wow, we cycle through a correction aggregated by policies set in place by Dems back in the days of Carter? Just wow. Giving Buster credit for 18% is like giving sh!t credit for being brown. 11% since the election is phenomenal, all just in the anticipation of the potential of policies to come.

I like the Regan numbers, especially since he started the longest peacetime economic growth ever.  But please, do continue.

Also Buttwipe, don't just do another drive by, contribute. :dunce:  :dunce:

Reagan's "peacetime" arms race bankrupted the country, Clinton's peacetime economic growth came while he balanced the budget.   :D

This is why when it comes to a choice between being a fiscal conservative or just plain Republican, you're always the latter, voting for the big spenders who cut taxes at the same time.  No wonder all the RNC heros like Dave Ramsey, Mitt Romney, or Donald Trump have at least 1, 2, or 3 bankruptcies they left behind.
