In 1983, Clinton was named Arkansas Woman of the Year by the Arkansas Democrat.[1][2]

Around 1994, Clinton received the Living Legacy Award from the Women's International Center, in recognition of "her vast contributions in so many fields, especially honoring her work for women and children."[6]
In 1994, a special variety of tulip was cultivated and named for her in The Netherlands; it was still being grown as of the late 2000s.[7]
In 1995, the New York University Annual Survey of American Law dedicated its 52nd volume to Clinton. Each spring since 1942 the NYU Annual Survey has dedicated a volume to a preeminent attorney. On hand to honor Clinton were Former Secretary of the Treasury and United States Senator Lloyd M. Bentsen, Nobel Peace Laureate Elie Wiesel, Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan, United States Secretary of the Treasury Robert Rubin, and United States Senator Edward M. Kennedy.[8]
In June 1995, Mount Saint Vincent University awarded Clinton an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
Clinton won the Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for It Takes a Village during the Grammy Awards of 1997.[9]
In 1997, Clinton was given the Lincoln Medal from the Ford's Theatre Society, presented annually to "individuals who, through their body of work, accomplishments or personal attributes, exemplify the lasting legacy, and mettle of character embodied by" Abraham Lincoln.[10]

•His organizational skills and personal charisma have rarely been matched. So good so far.
This brilliant leader was an excellent PR man who brought an end to year of strife, violence and economic instability, turned his nation around by creating a national banking system that brought about financial stability, created education reform, started a massive government public works program which built roads, bridges and helped beautiful some of his nation's cities creating jobs for its citizens.
He instituted new laws, many still abided by today such as religious tolerance and reformed civil laws of his nation.
Inspired many powerful and famous people in the field of military such as Robert Lee, the political forum as in Charles de Gaulle and in the arts such as Ludwig Beethoven.
He abolished feudalism and known to be a great civic leader raising citizens up by their achievements, not ancestry bringing lower classes up.
He led most of western and central Europe until he met his Waterloo.
