You just don't in the 21st century behave in 19th century fashion by invading another country on completely trumped-up pretext. - John Kerry
I don't know what's more insulting - the hypocrisy, or the notion that the American people have forgotten about Iraq. If that wasn't an invasion based on a trumped-up pretext, I don't know what is.
This will end badly for the U.S. if the hubris on our part continues, Mark my words.
-------------- Dear future generations: Please accept our apologies. We were rolling drunk on petroleum.
The whole problem with today versus the past? We have helped to evolve the world into a more advanced world. When you no longer have the technical advantage, the playing field is even. We have pissed off enough countries to the point, if they banded together, we would be in trouble. The wealthy have no loyalties anymore, they will side with whom ever is winning.

Countries binding together? Maybe not such a good time to gut our military? I know we're not at war(or are we?) but just maybe now is not the greatest time to cut our numbers.
So if one has money, they are not loyal Americans?
