Heard from a real estate person last night that there is a
rumor that the Elks property was sold.  Has anybody else
heard this and is it true.  Drove by there last week and
there were a bunch of cars outside.

Yes there is - the Vineyard Church.

My guess would be Abundant Life Tabernacle, down at the end of Margaretha and 18th. They're a Pentecostal church that met in members' homes after their old church (United Pentecostal) closed, until they found that location.

Perhaps they've outgrown the building. I visited there a few years ago, and they were at about 1/2 to 3/4 capacity, but it is a smaller building. Or, it could be another smaller church altogether.
