The real question is - was this a last-minute, down to the wire oversight that they caught later and thought, "Oh crap, I can't believe we did that!", or was it a case of "let's put these two headlines together on the same page and see if anyone notices"?
I am guessing the former. With all the complaints we can make about the Tribune, I don't think they're crafty enough to do something like this deliberately, unless it was a disgruntled employee's last day.
That said, this front page is both FAIL and WIN and the same time.

It was somewhat in poor taste for a newspaper, wasn't it? That seems almost like something that would be in The Onion. This was a "real" (and I use that term loosely) newspaper.
I wonder if they'll criticize those who pointed it out, like they did when someone pointed out that a picture of some girl was showing more cleavage than they might have wanted to print in the paper. It's never THEIR fault, and shame on anyone who points it out.
