Is this about getting to the truth of the matter, or about discrediting Hillary? Because I can assure you that had this occurred on a Republcan President's watch, the tone at FAUXNews would be very different.
I'm no fan of Hillary by any stretch of the imagination, but it's fun to watch the Right squirm like a toad in a hot skillet, when they know full well that they have NO candidate that can stop her.

I think I already know the gest of the truth or more importantly the lies told. Obama and Hillary are neither good liars. Stonewalling around answers has been done over this issue for years now.
Had this occurred during a republicans' watch, we wouldn't have had to worry about what Fox did. Every other network would have been all over it long ago.
Panetta did his best to do anything but shoot our commander in crime boss between the eyes. Even now, CBS has opened up to this turn of admissions.

The O'Reilly interview reminds me of this debate moment. Romney caught in "Act of Terror" lie. But much like George Castanza, "it's not a lie if you believe it."
The O'Reilly interview with Panetta is still rehashing the same storyline with a new twist, a few guys selling a book cite an unnamed CIA official, and clearly Obama and the director of CIA are to blame according to O'Reilly.
Not only is the attack a gate, but the suffix the President used the day after is a scandal; act of terror instead of terrorIST.
^Can you imagine the outrage if the media and Democrats in Congress would have attacked Bush over the wording he used above, and if John Kerry would have counted how long it took for him to say the word "terrorIST" instead of "act of terror"?
Much like the border patrol agent who was killed, we never hear the FOX and talk radio pundits talk about the actual killer, but we repeatedly hear about how Holder and Obama are to blame for it. That's not news, it's purely commentary, a free political advertisement.

It has nothing to do with parties. You act like the party tells us how to vote in reality the party represents our position. The fact that the tea party exists is proof of that, the kookiest people on the right didn't think the Republicans were kooky enough so they split off and created the tea party.
The same thing would happen if the democrats started to get more conservative the more liberal democrats wouldn't support the party and would likely find a more liberal party to support.
