The few unions I had the displeasure of being a part of, all told the tales of woe, if you guys do not vote for so and so, we will all be out of a job, and so and so is trying to break up unions, blah, blah, blah.  One union, if some people didn't vote the union way, they were retaliated against, and never saw work again, but then again who in their right mind tells their union steward who they voted for to begin with?

As for this particular business owner he is just laying out the cold hard facts, that if the status quo does not change, he will be forced to make drastic changes and I cannot find fault in his reasoning.

And how is it any different than this poor guys tale of woe???  His crying and whining that if so and so gets elected I'm going to have fire people so I can get my gold toilet seat. Boo-Hoo.
He is not "forced" to make any changes. He is making a decision to reduce his workforce to make more money. And hey, more power to him that is certainly his right. But, it does not make him any less of a douchbag.

Now I might give this prick a little repect if in his email he also guaranteed that if Romney gets elected nobody gets fired for 4 years, and everyone gets a raise. But, I'm sure he is too much of a coward to back his boy to that extent.

It's his money, he can do with it as he pleases.

I like the company that own Red Lobster and Olive Garden, to avoid obamacare, a large percentage of the workers are being cut to part time. "Gee thanks Mr. President and all you other A-holes that voted for socialized medicine, now I don't have health isururance"

It's happening local too. I have family at St Johns. They've had their hours cut so benefits can be cut. But the real blame there is on Rich Murray that wonderful saint of a man who told the nursining home administrators you can ask me anything you want, just don't ask for more money for nursing homes.

^Funny how legislators can't see past their own desire to be reelacted
