these mosquitos are terrible, did the city fertilize them, i know with all the rain its hard to keep them under control, but come on did the city give up.

We live out in the country and the last 6-7 years, we have it bad with the mosquitoes for about 3 weeks and then bam! they are gone.
Same as this year.  We go out in the morning and at night and not a one.
Obviously, we are very lucky.

I think they did. There was something said at the last council meeting about the fact that a discussion needed to be had concerning them. IMO, spraying by air did nothing but make them angrier, and not once have I seen (or heard) them doing a drive by via land. Those worked better then areal attacks. They are so bad that I can't go and check on my corn without getting mauled.

I would have to agree the ground spraying was much more effective, the pesticide was concentrated where they live, near the ground
