I received 3 shoppers today from 3 different delivery people. First there was Barney then Gary came then I found one in my mail slot.

I remember delivering those miserable things in 9th grade. I made about $.30 an hour and I'd get calls all week if someone missed one or someone got one who didn't want one, or if their eaves leaked and it got wet in their mailbox. I called them to tell them I was quitting the route and they still delivered them to my house for another month every Tuesday. My dad worked 15 hours a day so I had to keep shuffling them out.
-------------- I have decided that it would be in my family's best interest not to participate in the recession.

I think it's hammered into these kids to not miss a house. Funny thing is, sometimes routes overlap. I remember delivering the Tribune (not sure if they were both owned by the same company then or not) in 7th and again in 9th grade. We had "midweeks", which were an advertising paper we delivered on Wednesdays to the non-subscribers on our route. The only problem was, another carrier's route overlapped part of mine, so I wasn't sure if they were non-subscribers, or simply his customers.
We were told that someone from the Tribune was hiding along every route, watching to see whether or not we delivered our midweeks. Some kids believed this.

If I fished I would use it to wrap the fish, since I don't fish I use the Tribune to line the bird cage changing it daily, If I had a puppy I would spread it on the floor so he could do his business. Need you more of an explanation? I can provide pictures and graphs if needed.

Doesn't your business and/or Eddies occasionally advertise in the shopper?
