I know there are two commissioners up for re-election this year.  Dan is never an issue, but I've heard little about the district 4 race.

Chris Shoff has been on the board for a number of years now and chair three times now.  One of the better dems I've known.  :D   Randy Erman was a city councilman for four years and mayor for a term.

I think I've only seen one clip in the paper on either one of them and no one on the forum has brought them up.

I know there are forum members in this district.  What gives with you and why hasn't the paper done more on this race?

I thought Randy's comment about the  visually detracting eyesore effect of the substation, downtown by the courthouse, was a good point.

Also - raising the road through the flood zone on Main Street wouldn't really help the businesses in that area would it?

Even if you could drive there they would still be under water wouldn't they?
