imho, i do not think that this position should be filled at this time. albert lea is not in a growth stage & has not been for some time. why have there not been any coverage or discussion of this possible hiring made available to the public? if i remember correctly they hired a human resource awhile ago. it would seem that the city could also do more with less as many companies are doing today.

Hell, back in the day when things were good we had city manager that could run the city and do Dorman's job, kids these days just can't multi-task like the last generation.

You mean the city manager we "let go" and put him instead in charge of economic development (which was specifically what most people DIDN'T like about him) and then hired Bacteria Simpleton as the new city manager, creating a new $90K salary job in the process?  :hairpull:
