Our family is working on a project we are calling "Cookies for Vets"
The reason for this post is to promote a fundraiser we will be having at our local Applebee's here in Albert Lea.
It is a Dining to Donate night on Tuesday March 4, 2014 from 4-9 pm.
All you have to do is come into Applebee's and dine between 4-9pm let your server know that you are there for the fundraiser "Cookies for Vets" and at the end of the night they will give us a check for 15% of all the sales.
With all the money we raise we will purchase more Cookies and give them to our veterans here in Freeborn County.
We are really excited about giving back to those who gave so much for us.
My daughters are doing it. They are in a troop but it is not being supported by the troop. We have been collecting donations to support this project. That is why they are doing the Dining to Donate night at Applebee's. The more money they raise the more cookies they will have to give to our veterans. We hope to see many friends and family at Applebee's Tuesday March 4, 2014 to support the project.
