Greece just started their second round of austerity measures that was required after they were bailed out by the rest of the EU.

Actually, the movement has gone global. Most are realizing this isn't just a one country problem, and we are joining together to hold our governments accountable, and try to work together to make things better....maybe Fox news didn't get the memo out on that.

I don't care what people are going through in another country, what they do is their business.
Who cares about protesters in Greece, Russia, Britain, ect..
I really don't care, I only care about the USA in this regards.
The rest of the world could starve and be broke for all I care, as long as WE the PEOPLE in the good ol USA, are A O K, is all that matters.
I don't need Fox, CBS, NBC, or any other news outlet to tell me what to think or believe. I am my own person, who has made up his own mind.

There is an old saying in Eastern philosophy circles: What we do affects us.
The world is a global community. And the United States is not immune from the cause/effect relationship applied by any global unrest. One need only look to what has happened in Minnesota in recent years. Trouble in Somalia yesterday means thousands of Somalians in Minnesota today.
We must stand up to corruption wherever it rears its ugly head. So on that count alone, GD is right: No country on the planet is more corrupt, or treats its lesser citizens more poorly than does ours - we need to start here. Burying one's head in the sand and saying, "I got mine, F-you!" never solved anything.
