I guess I don't see a reason to protest, it seems to me if the protesters put that much effort into finding a job...

The video is one weirdo talking and a couple dozen other people repeating what the weirdo says. And the weirdo talking now reminds me of The Talking Heads.

Jobs? They are not protesting over jobs. Have you gone to that chat and live video feed or just listening to main stream media? The main thing they are protesting about is all the power corporations have over the government. They make laws to get richer even if it hurts us. This has gone on for decades, and main stream media has helped it get this bad by hiding all of it. The list of wrongs they have done to us is almost endless. If they hadn't been getting away with all of this for so freaking long, we'd have a whole different country. A whole different planet. This is not the first protest of it's kind, but it is the first one they haven't been able to hide. I really hope you are checking into this more, or at least going to the chat room where the live stream is, instead of listening to what main stream media is saying. You do yourself a disservice...and anyone else you "inform" .

Some of you realize how far media is going to hide and spin all of this, there is also ALOT of censoring going on, so I wouldn't be surprised if some videos get removed.

I think the biggest problem this has is, people have become blind to what has not punched themselves right in the face. Not hugely affected...yet. The world has become so, me. That is why our country is broke. Too many people, govt agencies, politicians, insurance companies, oil companies, food providers....you know what I mean, all have taking to what's in it for me. Instead of looking down the road and what is good for everyone. This is not the wild kingdom, where you stomp and kill everything you can. This is supposed to be a civilized society. We are turning into a world of self serving animals, wearing suits.

A few years ago I was watching a documentary on Africa. Some brit guy went to stay in a village to see what life was actually like for them. The family he stayed with had a table and a few wooden chairs, and that was pretty much it. There was a bucket of grains in the corner, had bugs crawling all over it. He asked the people what that was, and they told him it was given to them and it was supposed to last until the next hand out, but it never lasts so they only let the children eat it. The adults eat weeds that they spend most of the day pulling out of the ground. The weeds give them stomach aches, but was better than starving. Some of the people eat bark. Every commercial break, every single one, had an ad for Hummers. One of the commercials had two guys in a grocery store, the first guy in line had his cart stacked full of fruit and veggies, the guy behind him had his cart stacked full of meats. The guy with the fruit looked embarrassed and kept looking back at the cart of meat, ashamed that he only had fruit and veggies, the guy with the cart of meat had a smug look on his face, gloating that his cart was full of meat. The end of the commercial the announcer said "Need to feel more like a man? Buy a Hummer" =not sure if those were exact words anymore, but close enough. I agree Grassman, we don't care about others much anymore. This world is a mess, in almost every way.
