We all are fed up with the government. We see constantly the corruption and empty promises. This week I have been busy helping with the protests, and today is the biggest day so far. The little bit of attention the media gives this protest tries it's hardest to make them look like a bunch of whackos. Contrary to how some in the government and media are painting this, these protestors are marching to bring attention to the widespread corruption in government. Corporations running the politicians and the media. Here is a livestream of the protest, http://www.livestream.com/globalrevolution it is the only place so far that anyone can see for themselves what is going on in NY. The connection isn't the best, it's just some people with laptops. The fact that main stream won't cover this, when there are thousands of people marching down the streets of NY should make some people curious if nothing else. http://www.livestream.com/globalrevolution

The media that actually is covering this thing, is trying to turn this into cops vs. protesters, and that's not what this is about. I really do hope some of you, if not all, try to check into this thing in NY. It's chaotic for sure, I spent hours and hours on all of their websites trying to figure out what it's about. I wish they would make it easier for people to learn about the point of this whole thing. Come to the livestream site if you can to check into things. I spoke to an officer at the NYPD two days ago, and he says they are all on the side of the protesters in what they are trying to do, he also said that they have to keep the peace...that's their jobs. Not all cops are bad either, but I digress, that's not the point of this protest.

The news services have been very quiet about this...Why can they cover all kinds of things in the Middle East and Asia etc. But not in New York... I can remember the Vietnam protests during the 60' and 70's... Are the banks that exempt from ridicule??..What is really happening?... ....ned

I don't know how things have gotten as bad as they are, but it's pretty clear that it really needs to change. I don't think anyone knows all the answers on how to fix it all, but I bet we can make it alot better than it is right now. I'm afraid if this movement in NY fails, it will be a long long time before we have another chance. Please go to those links and read up on the things that are being proposed. We're in a mess, let's try to make things better.

Wake up. The government is corrupt, the banks are corrupt, the FDA is corrupt, the american public is easily corrupted and misled. This sanctimoneous media...are they immune to this disease? Please! They colude in picking winners and losers habitually. That sense of manipulation and intoxicating power...perfectly human.
Will the web, with its "independant" videos and texts, bring light upon our dark world? That all depends on the users. Are you yet "uninfected" by media? Is your "freewill" yet free? Is your precious subconscious more trustworthy than media info? If not you are not free.
All the references and dependance on links, videos, and generic garbage gives a false sense of being informed. ANY media is suspect. Human instinct is far more trustworthy than media.

We are spoonfed TV news in 30 second sound bites, people spend more time reading newspapers about sports scores than political events... We have trusted our political system to take care of our country and us...Hasn't worked, has it? Thank goodness for those who dare to differ with the political "management who have called us a mob" (Eric Cantor)... ...ned
