I can see it now, twingroves learns the new toy store is owned by immigrants but decides to go hang out anyway because he loves toys so much. The Black/Mexican owner lets him play with all the toys and they become good friends.

...best friends and then when one dies the other goes to his funeral and calls him his best friend.
